Position Summary:


Regional Ethics & Compliance Leader - EMEA


The Regional Ethics & Compliance Leader works closely with lawyers, business leaders and other stakeholders in their region and at the corporate level.

The person in this role must bring a strong understanding of compliance risk management, be adept at developing strong relationships and have an ability to deal with ambiguity.

Effective leadership and influencing skills (critical thinking, results oriented, etc.), including a strong reputation for integrity, objectivity, impartiality, fairness, and sound judgment are required.

The duties of this role directly support our global commitment to doing the right thing in the right way.

Following the laws, regulations, and industry codes that govern our business along with our Code of Conduct and supporting policies is foundational to our culture.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Design, assess and continually improve an effective ethics and compliance program that promotes compliance with our Code of Conduct and prevents and detects misconduct, globally.
  • Assist with development of strategic and annual plans, budgets, and resource alignment.
  • Support leadership in creating and fostering an engaged global culture of integrity.
  • Lead assigned projects, indirect and crossfunctional teams, and act as an owner for assigned tasks in the region and beyond.
  • Ensure and establish local/regional policies and procedures aligned with our Code of Conduct, and global policies and procedures that are readily accessible to all employees in the appropriate languages.
  • Assess conflict of interest disclosures.
  • With the global E&C team, manage and oversee the compliance risk assessment.
  • Develop training and communication strategies that are responsive to our needs and effectively raise awareness and understanding.
  • In conjunction with the Director, Compliance Monitoring, implement a regional compliance monitoring program. Ensure root cause analysis is conducted and preventative and preventative measures are in place.
  • Support cases and issues involving the Company's Integrity hotline as assigned.
  • Support the thirdparty anticorruption due diligence process.
  • Advise and/or represent compliance on various governance committees in the region and beyond.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Undergraduate degree, Bachelor's minimum.
  • Significant experience in a compliance or regulatory role or related field.
  • Proven change management and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices for policies and procedures, training, and communications in a global company.
  • Ability to partner effectively with stakeholders in the region with a crosscultural sensitivity and mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fastpaced environment and quickly step in where resources may be restricted, or timing is constrained.
  • Excellent interpersonal, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid role that may be based from one of our offices in Europe.
