Portfolio Planning is a department within Installation & Commissioning under the Northern and Central Europe (NCE) business unit at Vestas.

The aim of Portfolio Planning is to support the region in the effective execution of Construction Projects.

The Portfolio Planning department will be responsible for consolidating the demand from onshore construction projects into the portfolio that can be utilized for external resource management, supply chain and other important stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Demand management and capacity reservation of mid
- (<12 months) and long-term project portfolio planning throughout the value chain from Sales to Construction

  • Secure project maturity and plausibility for capacity reservations
  • Review and monitor project transition from sales portfolio planning to project midterm planning
  • Direct NCE S&OP capacity assignment to optimize project portfolio
  • Optimise demand plan projects incl. interfaces to transport and construction portfolio planning
  • Provide pre/postcalc governance reg. warehouse selection and timing
  • Key stakeholder for development projects reg. demand management

Qualifications:


  • MSc. in engineering, supply chain management, planning or equivalent
  • Solid experience in supply, project or demand planning typically from a OEM or construction industry
  • Experience with complex largescale projects on an international scale or within renewables
  • Knowledge about Primavera or Microsoft Project is preferable
  • Leadership experience and people management skills. Ideally you have directed a team before or can show positive examples of people management
  • Fluent in English
