MiGenTra was incorporated in April 2021 with mission to develop and commercialize high-quality, affordable biologic medicines to serve patients across Africa and the Middle East.

Combining the scientific and manufacturing expertise of its founding companies, ProBioGen AG and Minapharm Pharmaceuticals, MiGenTra specializes in biosimilars, cell and gene therapies (CGT) and vaccines.


MiGenTra portfolio includes three biosimilar products are already marketed in Egypt and 7 more in development at different stages, either in autoimmune diseases (rheumatology, gastroenterology, or dermatology) or oncology.

And it is continuously striving to complement this already solid portfolio by in-licensing new products.


The Role
We are looking for a CEO Associate to work as the right-hand to the CEO and be immersed in

strategic and operational analysis, as well as taking a lead role in driving relevant projects within one of the companies, maximizing the organizational strategy and direction of the two companies.

The CEO Associate must be adept at compiling information and reports for the CEO, enabling the CEO to quickly understand where the business is and the issues it faces.

This position will be expected to give opinions on such findings, and independently design and implement action and project plans.

As CEO Associate, you have to understand how the senior management team operates and how
important decisions are made. You will be responsible for ensuring that there is a process for
information to come to the CEO, and will ensure that this information is thorough and accurate,
making sure the executive decision-making process is effective.

You will be responsible for Executive Committee meetings, for planning Board meetings, CEO
presentations internally and externally, and other projects as assigned. As CEO Associate, you
will also have project work critical to the organization's growth and development as well as the
Company's ability to effectively scale as it grows. You will gain experience and be able to grow
into a management role that encompasses the strategic and operational aspects of leading a
global, complex biotechnology organization consisting of two companies.


Main Responsibilities

  • Attending business meetings and if necessary business trips with the CEO and providing action items and executive minutes
  • Preparing critical meeting agendas and sending out premeeting documentation
  • Participating in meetings and being responsible for tracking outcomes and deliverables
  • Working closely with the CEO to identify and prepare for critical thought leadership engagements
  • Become aware of issues from an integrative, executive leadership perspective
  • Obtain an up close and personal understanding of leadership and decisionmaking related to the simultaneous execution of a complex organizational growth strategy
  • Access to executive developmental opportunities that augment their responsibilities
  • This role provides privileged access to the inner workings of MiGenTra & ProBioGen and to highest sensitive information

What you bring along

  • Successfully completed university studies with Master Degree
  • International Exposure
  • Working experience in the life sciences industry, which may include management/strategy consulting
  • MBA or PhD in Business related Science or Biology/ Medicine appreciated but not required
  • Must be discreet, agileminded, strategic, proactive, highlyorganized and committed to the mission, vision and values of MiGenTra & ProBioGen
  • Willingness to work hard and to take direction, ownership and accountability and to creatively solve problems
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, suggest improvements to current systems. as well as establish new processes
