Your responsibilities:


  • Grow and maintain a portfolio of customers and counterparts active on the steel product market, prioritize your leads and turn them into clients and transactions
  • Conduct daytoday sales initiatives and provide clients with essential market intelligence analysis to support pricing, trading, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Conduct onsite meetings and discussions with potential customers about their needs
  • Maintain and build long standing national and international customer and purchase relations
  • Operate and develop multiple sales and purchasing channels

Your profile:


  • Multiple years of trading experience in the steel market resulting in reliable steel product knowledge and an international network
  • Commercial experience in trading, trade execution, steelmarket and origination roles, with the ability to influence customers and counterparts at the most senior level
  • Strong quantitative skills, the ability to conduct complex negotiations as well as structure/monetize optionality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and business partners
  • Ability to adopt to a given structure and stand out with a clear risk judgement and compliance awareness
  • English language skills are mandatory, other language skills are a plus
