As a Graduate Power Trader (M/F/d) at Convex Energy, you will become part of our intraday trading team. You'll gain invaluable hands-on trading experience and actively stay informed on the latest industry trends.

Tasks

You are at the forefront of the energy trading industry by trading on physical power markets across Europe.
You will make quick, decisive trading decisions based on timesensitive market information in a fastpaced and volatile trading environment.
When not actively trading, you will collaborate with a crossfunctional expert team to conduct indepth market analysis to enhance overall trading performance.
You think one step ahead by taking a datadriven approach to studying market trends and backtest trading strategies during nontrading hours.
You participate in our trading team's shift rotation.

Requirements:

You have a Master's degree in a related field, such as Economics, Finance, or Business
You have a strong interest in the energy markets and trading
You are proficient in Excel and VBA; proficiency in Python is a plus
You maintain a high level of focus in volatile and stressful situations
You are decisive and possess a mindset that helps you overcome challenges
Ideally, you have gained first experience in fields such as online poker, sports betting, cryptocurrencies, stock

- or FX trading
