Job Description:

Our Legal-Team in Europe & North Africa (ENA) is looking for a new Legal Counsel (M/F/d), who will focus on supporting our Commercial
- & Procurement-departments across the region. You will join a growing and dynamic team working on all Commercial and Procurement Agreements across the region. You will focus your efforts on Accor's Premium, Midscale & Economy branded hotels.

What are your main tasks?

  • You be a business partner and consultant for our Procurement and Commercial (Sales, Marketing, Loyalty, Distribution & E-Commerce)Departments for all legal matters, with a focus on the region of Northern Europe (32 countries, including DACH, BeNeLux, UK&I, EE, Nordics & SEE)
  • You will be a partner to our management teams and particularly support with legal decisionmaking bases and advice for management and specialist departments
  • You will independently handle all cases and requests related to Commercial law the region
  • You will draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements to meet our business' needs
  • You will support negotiation processes with e.g. suppliers, partners and clients and take the lead on all legal matters
  • You will work on the further development and continuous improvement of standardized template agreements for key service areas
  • You will manage all legal correspondence with internal departments and external contractual and negotiating partners, in particular with legal advisors/lawyers of our contractual partners
  • As part of the legal community in ENA, you will collaborate on driving accountability and productivity, coordinate legal matters with other internal divisions and/or outside counsel as well as exchange on and implement best practices.

Qualifications:


Your experiences and skills include:

  • You have a law degree (Staatsexamen, LLM or similar) or equivalent Legal Executive qualification and at least 2 years of relevant professional experience, working in an inhouse corporate role or law firm
  • You have a strong understanding of commercial law and experience leading on a variety of commercial legal matters
  • Your have a proactive, autonomous work style, with a high level of (self) organization
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and businessoriented practices, combined with an analytical, solutionoriented mindset shape your work
  • You an effective negotiator, able to lead and support negotiations with stakeholders from various backgrounds and levels of an organization
  • You have good strategic thinking
- and problem solving capabilities.

  • Your communication skills are among your core strengths, with an ability to build longterm relationships and manage a variety of stakeholders across all levels, both inside and outside of the organization
  • You are a strong team player, with a focus on team effort and collaboration
  • You are fluent in German and English, including legal terminology
