Group Description
The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility.

We are looking for a Group Controller (M/F/d) who is responsible for the review and analysis of monthly financial results, quarterly forecasts and annual budget within the Magna Mirrors Europe Group.

Tasks & Duties:

Coordinates and designs efficient monthend processes and ensures timeliness
Prepares and consolidates quarterly Group forecasts and annual budget
Participates in the annual business/budget review and monitors divisional budget achievement
Reviews and coordinates monthly and quarterly reporting
Data analysis, data modelling
Reviews and approves account reconciliations
Coordinates and participates in the internal and external audit process (e.g. SOX, auditing firm)
Works together with Magna's tax department when required
Compiles financial information to be reported and presented to Management
Assists the Director Finance Europe as required
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Develops, maintains and continuously improves the effectiveness of procedures and processes
Functions as direct contact person for divisional Finance personnel
Performs other duties as required

Education/Professional Experience/Core Competencies:

Completed commercial or economic education (university, university of applied sciences) with a specialization in finance/controlling
Professional (510 years of experience)
Extended knowledge and experience in Finance and Controlling, ideally gained in the international automotive industry or industrial group
Operational / divisional Finance / Controlling experience is an advantage
Very good knowledge of German & English (written and verbal)
Very good MS Office knowledge (especially excel)
SAP (FI/CO) knowledge beneficial.
