The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain.

In order to support the Testing Team in Taufkirchen, a vacancy for a "Team Leader Testing (d/f/m)" has arisen at Aerostack GmbH.

The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of Homologation.

Main Tasks and Accountabilities:

Lead technical activities
Implement the testing strategy/ planning (functional, integration, performance)
Implement and execute the test plan together with your team
Coordination of the Health & Safety yearly reviews and requirements, including the testing facilities
Build a strong link with the Airbus team across Engineering, Quality, Certification and Testing to ensure completeness and robustness of the V&V strategy
Participate in design reviews as well as ensure design requirements and specifications are testable
Manage your team
Coordination as well as operational and functional management of the team and acting as Deputy of the Head of Homologation
Support the Homologation department budget and human resource management (including development) and planning
Technical communication to verification and validation suppliers
Be a process lead, including responsibility for your team, ensuring best practices and inspiring a quality mindset

Required Skills:

Educated to Masters level in Aeronautic engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Solid experience in functional and performance verification and validation along with driving system specifications into test plans
FMEA skills specifically addressing aeronautic qualification tasks
Solid leadership skills and the ability to navigate the organization with a positive leadership attitude
Proven experience in team management and development, with a high level of commitment and responsibility for the task, evidenced by a strong team spirit and handson mentality
Experience and knowhow in Health & Safety regulations
Good communication and presentation skills
Pragmatic mindset and ambition for simplicity
Capability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
