Master Thesis Student - UX Research on Sustainable Surfaces

Tasks/Topic:


  • This Master Thesis is about the "User perception of sustainable vehicle interior materials".
  • Your goals are to find out, (1) which sustainable materials are preferred by end consumers, (2) which material characteristics are the most relevant ones (e.g., color, surface structure) and (3) which demographical factors (e.g., region, gender, age) have the most impact on users' perception.
  • You will also propose several research approaches and methods to address your research questions and select the most appropriate ones.
  • After defining the methodology you'll conduct your study here in Neuss, analyze and interpret the data and create meaningful insights.

Requirements:


  • Enrolled Student of Master studies within Human Factors & Ergonomics, Usability, Applied/Experimental Psychology, Sociology, Sustainability, Design & Engineering.
  • A basic knowledge about how to conduct user research studies and interest in the field of sustainable materials and technologies.

Fluent German and good English language skills:

  • Should have a high level of initiative, strong communication skills and team spirit
  • Candoattitude and passion about working in a transforming environment
  • Valid German work and residence permit
