The Senior Manager Danaher Business System Leader (DBSL) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics provides on-site leadership for implementing, sustaining, and improving the effective use of Danaher Business System tools and methodologies across Munich Operations.

Including focus areas like Innovation, Growth, and Lean.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Support improvement of the DBS organizational structure, expansion of the DBS tools and DBS capabilities of the functional and site leaders
Serve as a change facilitator, developing and collaborating with other sites DBSL's, and influencing BEC Dx Operations leadership in the transformation to and/or in support of a continuous improvement culture.
Develop the DBS strategy within Manufacturing Operations and support the development of the Global Operations DBS strategy.
Facilitate and/or conduct lean, growth, and leadership training programs, Kaizen events, and other lean initiatives, including coordination of Shingijutsu and Grand Kaizen events
Work independently, in teams, and matrix environments. Partner with DBSL's to drive strategy and action.
Ability to work and influence all levels of the organization from Senior Leaders, driving the improvement agenda for the organization. Own Kaizen sustainability, understand and develop bench strength, and hold leaders accountable for impact to KPI's.
Become a Certified Practitioner in at least one and preferably several of the DBS Tools.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's or a Master's degree with proven experience including a proven experience in a manufacturing environment
Fluency in English is required and fluency in German is preferred
Demonstrated mastery in an array of LEAN tools, Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and overcome opposition to change at all levels.
Experience training others in LEAN tools and developing LEAN/Continuous Improvement programs
Basic DBS Tools experience, including all or some: 5S, Kaizen Basics, Problem Solving Process, Standard Work, Transactional Process Improvement, Value Stream Mapping and Daily Management.
Experience in a highly regulated environment preferred

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Sophisticated DBS Tools, including SMED, LEAN Conversion, TPM, DMS, and QSB.
The job will be fully onsite
The role will require 10% travel
