Job Start:

Location:
Leipzig International School, Könneritzstraße 47, Leipzig, Germany

Contract:
Full-time (40 h/week), leave cover, fixed-term until 15 February 2024

Your tasks and responsibilities:

First point of contact for families and departments regarding fees/tuition
Monitoring of accounts receivable and debtor master data
Preparation of all outgoing invoices and booking of daily incoming payments
Support monthly and annual statistics (e.g. Statistisches Landesamt Kamenz, LASUB, Jugendamt)
Support of preparation of annual financial statement
Preparation of payment confirmations for parents (for tax purposes)
Monitor incoming payments for class trips, sports events and exams
Take over accounting tasks in case needed (Holiday cover)

Your profile:

University degree or comparable education in Finance, Accounting, Taxation/Audit, Controlling and/or Business Administration
Profound knowledge about German commercial law, accounting principles and tax law
Professional working experience with MS Office products and ERP/Accounting systems (especially knowledge of DATEV is preferred)
Fluent in German and English
A welldeveloped selfconfidence to challenge situations and to change things for the better
A structured and selfdependent working style
Strong communication and intercultural skills
