PhD Position (M/F/d) - Hematology/Oncology

Your responsibilities:


  • Work with a collaborative spirit within at Research Unit at the interface of basic and translational research
  • Develop scientific hypotheses and design experimental approaches to test them
  • Perform experiments (ranging from cell culture to patient samples and mouse models) and analyze obtained data diligently
  • Prepare talks, presentations and manuscripts

Your profile:


  • Very good master or equivalent degree in life sciences (biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine etc.) with adequate laboratory experience
  • Strong interest in translational cancer research, scientific curiosity, enthusiasm and commitment to scientific excellence
  • Collaborative spirit, flexibility and passion for team work in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experimental experience in molecular cell biology and cell culture models as well as basic knowledge in data analysis is expected. Bioinformatics experience and experience with murine models is beneficial but not required.
  • Excellent ability to write and present in English
