Your tasks:

The laboratory led by Prof. Ina Vorberg studies cellular mechanisms of protein misfolding and intercellular spreading of pathologic protein aggregates associated with neurodegenerative diseases. We are specifically interested in the role of viral infections in these processes.

To this end, we perform biochemical and cell biological analyses and use state-of-the-art technology such as automated image-based high content screening (Liu et al., Nat Commun 2021, ; Liu et al., Nat Commun 2023, ).

Become part of our laboratory team and take on exciting tasks with a focus on disease mechanisms of self-templating protein aggregates.
