Head of Quality Management (M/F/d) Materials and Team Product

Your Tasks:

The quality of our products lies in your very capable hands: you source the raw materials and provide your expertise on upper workmanship and construction techniques to help us deliver the best products for our customers.
You find the right suppliers for us, expertly guide them through the onboarding process and ensure a fruitful longterm collaboration.
The product development and product engineering team can count on your technical advice for the optimal product setup for the mass production stage.
You act as key contributor for the rollout of projects and improvement initiatives when it comes to quality management, raw materials supplies and manufacturing.
Every day you learn more and proactively share your knowledge with your team, coach best practices, establish QA standards, processes and techniques and liaison with suppliers as well as our factories on quality assurance and manufacturing process.

Your Profile:

Several years of working experience in the shoemaking industry and in footwear technical development related positions with excellent knowledge of footwear constructions, machinery and workmanship techniques
Ideally completed studies or specialized training in the areas of footwear or fashion (e.g., a diploma from either SAFT, BTEC, or City and Guilds)
Previous experience as Quality Controller and Quality Assurance Leader is appreciated
Fit in MS Office and Lean Management concepts
Responsible and constructive leader with a strategic mindset and an eye for the big picture
Willingness to travel to factories and suppliers in Germany and Europe
