Ihre aufgaben:


1)
Lead business development, optimization and protection initiatives for MARK Germany and DLP Europe

  • Support the development of MARK Germany and DLP Europe activities allowing to trade new products, to enter new markets or to deal with new clients
***- Continuously improve the efficiency on such perimeters (simplification, automation, revamping ) that lead to reducing costs

***- Coordinate all stakeholders (MARK, GBSU, DFIN, RISQ, CPLE ) around the MARK Germany chains (Client-to-FO-to-BO-to-accounting).

  • Contribute to the prevention, control and monitoring of operational risks on MARK Germany and DLP Europe perimeters

2) Facilitation
  • Act as a key Business Partner in the daytoday life of the activity
**- Represent MARK on initiatives driven by our LoD partners impacting MARK Germany or DLP perimeter; they can be regular (RCSA, BIA, COMPASS, WpHg

Prüfung ) or punctual (incident post-mortem, audit, inspection, regulatory change programs ).

  • Assist Germany management and EQD DLP in Europe in running the business on nontransactional topics (representing MARK in front of external and internal
parties, taking decision as per management delegation, ensuring proper governance and providing support on atypical events)

  • Represent MARK Germany or EQD DLP management and establish a constructive (twoways) partnership with support functions to ensure a good alignment of objectives and resources (lead budget allocation with GBSU).
  • Understand, explain and challenge cost items under Front Office control (direct costs, dedicated allocated costs and negative NBI) in order to respect budget set
by management.

  • Manage a team of Business Managers and Operational Risk Managers (ORM) in Germany and in Paris and potentially coordinate worldwide topics in collaboration
with Asia Business Management teams.

  • Sign binding agreements necessary to conduct MARK Germany or EQD DLP activities.
  • Prepare communication material to MARK Germany or local DLP staff (instructions, announcements, townhalls, etc.).
  • Supervise the implementation of corrective actions identified by internal or external control/auditing bodies. Identify with BTO/ORM the main areas of nonfinancial
risks (operational, legal, compliance ) to address.

  • Followup of specific local structures (SG Effekten, Lübeck scheme, Namenspapiere ).

3) Assist on Strategic / business matters on behalf of MARK management in Germany**- Efficiently support the Head of Global Markets Germany and Austria on diverse projects, monitoring, regulatory requirements and cost control.

  • Prepare any strategic paper for review by the Head of Global Markets Germany & Austria in coordination with the Team Heads and business partners.

Ihr profil:


Experience & technical skills:


  • University Degree in Business Administration or similar
  • At least 5 years' experience in the financial industry, preferably within a Global Markets division
  • Good knowledge of Global Markets products and topics
  • Good understanding of the regulatory framework and rules of market exchange.
  • Fluent in German and English both verbal and in writing
  • Excellent knowledge of usual IT tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proven track record in relationship building
  • Preferably knowledge of SG information system, SG organization, SG policies, procedures and guidelines
