Job Description:

Your mission during this flight:

To study and develop an alternative cooling concept to be installed in a fullelectric Vertical Take-Off and Landing vehicle (eVTOL).
The scope is to elaborate a conceptual and preliminary design of the cooling system, following a set of technical and business requirements.

Conceptual design includes:
solution ideation, trade-offs to accomplish requirements.

Preliminary design includes: equipment sizing, performance evaluation, weight estimation.
The concept shall be designed to manufacturability and, ideally, allow the possibility to be scaled up e.g., to accommodate double the heat load. The solution is to be certified under EASA SC-VTOL.

Qualifications:

Studies in the fields of mechanical engineering, process engineering or comparable fields
Knowledge of air conditioning and heat and mass transfer advantageous
Independent work, communication and team skills
Assignment language is English
