Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey that combines your passion for data with practical experience? Joining us as a Working Student in the Data Department will provide you with an exceptional opportunity to work on impactful projects within a dynamic and data-focused environment.

Your role in a team:

You will assist the data team within the project of implementation dbt (data build tool) as the main data transformation tool
This includes writing transformation scripts, defining tests & creating respective model documentation, all using the dbt internal functions.
You will get to know a modern data stack setup based on open source services (airbyte, airflow, dbt, metabase)
You will use your skills to create visualizations in our BI tool and thereby help stakeholders answer their business questions.
You will work closely with our Analytics Engineer / Data Analyst by supporting them with data transformation and analytical tasks.
You will own small projects and guide them (with support) to a successful end.
You will use your passion for data to foster our dentolo data culture.

What you need to be successful:

Basic SQL knowledge is required, and you know concepts of data transformation.
You have the first experience of working with databases, data warehousing.
You have previous experience with data visualization using BI tools such as PowerBI, Looker, Tableau, Superset, Metabase, etc.
You have a strong interest in businessrelated topics and can connect the data you work with to realworld operative challenges and business questions posed.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
You can work independently and take ownership of your tasks with high accuracy.
You have great spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

Previous experience with dbt
Experience with Python, R, or any similar scripting language
