The Position:


We are looking for a Global Capability Owner, based in our headquarters in Ingelheim/Germany, to globally lead the "Strategic Account Management Learning Training and Coaching" capability.

The appointed GCO will be responsible for defining the capability vision, developing and delivering capability building tools / trainings / platforms to support execution of BI customer facing strategies in a compliant and sustainable manner across the HP Regions.

Incumbent is expected to consider the requirements of the global cross-functional GTM Model; the needs of the capability users in the regions/local operating units and/or cross-functional corporate teams, impact on external customers, and business value of the capability.

Incumbent is expected to collaborate with other global capability owners to ensure end-to-end integration and execution of the capability, aligning standards, processes, platforms, data, integrations, and core performance metrics across the capability portfolio and supports the training, promotinanadoption of best practices across capability users.


Tasks & responsibilities:


  • Works closely with Focus Markets and TAs to define the capability strategy including vision, standards, and performance metrics. Evaluates current capability performance and develops the strategic roadmaps to realize the capability visions and business value. Ensures alignment with One HP Strategic Priorities, other capability roadmaps, crossfunctional user needs/priorities, external customer requirements, as well as available budgets/FTEs.
  • Collaborates with other One Team capability owners and HP Services to ensure overall alignment of the capability portfolio (including interdependent capabilities) regarding the overall process and platform usage. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders across functions, TAs and focus markets to deliver on the strategic roadmaps and to achieve meaningful progress on key milestones including enhancements to process, tools/platforms, training, data, and integrations.
  • Works with all ROPUs to drive adoption of the capability and standards, as well as ensure the required capability training and change management tools are effectively managed and maintained, with priority to focus markets. Proactively identifies and promotes the sharing of best practices across the community of experts to drive the desired impact.
  • Defines, documents, and maintains the crossfunctional core business process for the capability and ensures global alignment. Identifies where local or functional exceptions/deviations are required while also ensuring that the capability is managed in a consistent and sustainable manner across R/OPUs and corporate functions. Collaborates with IT capability owners to evaluate and implement features/major changes to the required tools/platforms, and integrations based on the strategic roadmap. Ensures timely evaluation, execution, and testing of routine demands for minor upgrades and enhancements. Monitors operational performance of the tools/platforms and ensures issues are proactively addressed in a timely manner.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor ́s degree in relevant field required, MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Expertise in Strategic Account Management operations and execution in healthcare sector
  • Experience in B2B in healthcare sector
  • Experience in designing & implementing training / coaching programs for customerfacing teams.
  • Experience in global capability management and/or capability user roles with increasing responsibilities in transformation and change management preferably in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with good relationship management including the ability to successfully lead and coach global crossfunctional teams, influence and collaborate with peers and crossfunctional partners.
  • Crosscultural awareness and ability to engage with a wide variety of colleagues from around the world through excellent written and oral communication.
  • Deep knowledge and extensive practice of segmentation, targeting and territory design platforms, processes, and people skills.
  • Understanding of current healthcare trends and diverse healthcare systems
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities with an agile mindset, methods, and tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English
