The role
- Data center management: You deploy and configure hardware servers and network components with Linuxbased operating systems in our onprem data centers (together with our data center providers)
- Device and endpoint management: You deploy, update, and manage the notebooks of the Gridfuse team, especially from a security perspective
- Operation: You monitor and ensure the smooth operation of our onprem Kubernetes hosts in our data centers and all client devices
- Automation: You diagnose and troubleshoot problems as well as automate IT processes
- Security: You define, monitor, and enforce security and compliance restrictions that are compliant with ISO27001 and KritisV regulations (incl. security patches, bug fixes)
What you'll bring
- Ownership: You are a selfstarter and love to work in a fastpaced startup environment
- Experience: You have knowledge of data center hardware (e.g., HP, Dell, Cisco, Aruba, etc.) and indepth knowledge of Linux server administration and networking be it through a degree, training in the field of computer science/IT or corresponding work experience. Baremetal Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
- Interest: You love automating things
- Solutionoriented: You know how to troubleshoot a problem with relevant tools even on OSI layer
- Coding: You are familiar with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., bash, Ansible, Python, Terraform, Go)
