Objectives and Tasks of the Network Architect
- dbSatellite High Level Architecture is based on capabilities defined by each domain using an architecture methodology from CTO Infrastructure Architecture.

The network architect will be working collaboratively with the GNS Architecture and Engineering teams and the dbSatellite principal architect through the whole lifecycle of the project, while representing GNS and the CTO network domain.
On behalf of GNS, the outcomes expected but not limited to defining and approving the requirements, describing capabilities, creating test plans, coordinate with vendor resources, providing expertise and support.
The Network expert will also assist with defining the setup and targets of the dbSatellite Proof of Concept.
Acting as the technical conduit and SPOC for GNS within the dbSatellite project
Identify and define dbSatellite Network Capabilities as per the IA&C Architecture Methodology (Templates and Tools)
Identify and define architecture principles, constraints, and architecture level requirements for each network capability.
Engage with other domains teams (compute, storage, data center, security) for alignment of cross domain dependencies in the dbSatellite capabilities.
Facilitate the results with GNS through the Networks TelDA
Present proposed capabilities in the Private Cloud TelDA
Contribute to the SRE Operating model and PoC execution.
