A Snapshot of Your Day


As the Head (f/m/d) of Technology Development, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the technology development function within the Innovation Center Berlin.

Your primary objective will be to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of innovative technology solutions to support the company's goals and objectives.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, in particular your counterparts in Orlando, Abu Dhabi and Shenzhen and including research and development departments, engineering, procurement, Data & Analytics and IT, to ensure the successful development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen.

  • Building and leading a highperforming technology development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development
  • Establishing clear goals and objectives, and regularly evaluate team performance to drive accountability and achieve desired outcomes
  • Defining and executing a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with the company's longterm vision and business goals
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize technology initiatives, considering factors such as market demands, resource availability, and risk mitigation as well as overseeing prototyping, testing, and validation of new technologies, ensuring their readiness for commercialization
  • Ensuring efficient resource allocation and effective project management to deliver technology solutions within agreed timelines, budgets and with the desired quality
  • Establishing and enforcing technology development standards, processes, and best practices to ensure quality, scalability, and security
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and intellectual property laws as well as assessing and managing technology risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies and contingency plans

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA, phD or advanced business degree is a plus
  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, driving technology development initiatives in a fastpaced, technologydriven environment and eep understanding of technology trends, software and hardware development methodologies, and emerging technologies
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technology strategies with broader business objectives and drive commercial success
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and leading highperforming teams
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of effectively engaging and influencing both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills as well as analytical mindset, with the ability to make datadriven decisions and effectively manage resources
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects within agreed timelines and budgets in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
