- Administrative and system support of the laboratorysystem solutions as well as user support and training within thecentral institute and other laboratories
- Support and maintenance of the communication link to LIMS and otherdatabases (e.g. Hybase, Genius)
- Monitoringand optimization of processes for sample processing / datatransfers from the measuring devices to LIMS
- Interfaces, in particular transmission of findings and billing toHIS and external systems
- Coordination of(sub-)projects in the area of laboratory systems
- Preparation of statistics and evaluations
- Participation in on-call duty
- Completed university degree in computerscience or a comparable course of study
- Several years of professional IT experience in the above-mentionedareas of responsibility desirable
- Soundknowledge and experience in the field of Windows and Unix operatingsystems, system-related software applications and in theprogramming languages C/C++, Java, Perl and scripting languages
- Sound knowledge of the administration ofmedical subsystems and virtualization techniques
- Knowledge of the laboratory solution from Medat (David)and the HIS from CGM (Medico)
- Ability tosolve problems in a clearly structured, organized and independentmanner
- Initiative, commitment, cooperationand strong communication skills
- Medicalknowledge is an advantage
