Structural or stability naval architect within the Marine North Europe Region Division.

The position is based in RINA office in Hamburg, Germany or alternative in Rotterdam, the Netherlands


Responsibilities:

For this role, you will be responsible for design assessment of various ship structural documents in accordance with statutory codes,
RINA Rules & Regulations and International & National Standards in a consistent and timely manner for new buildings,
conversion projects and Ship in Service.

You may be required to take part in negotiations, meetings with shipyards, flag administration and clients.


What we are looking for:


Professional experience:


  • Degree in Naval Architecture or equivalent
  • Proficiency in the English. Germany or Dutch knowledge will be considered as advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant Class and Statutory Regulations
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of Structural Software (FEM Calculation) as advantage.
