Your Role- As a disciplinary leader, lead and grow a team of currently 7 Customer & User Researchers in Munich, who help (potential) customers and users to imagine the future, and develop, iterate and test (digital) products and services- Set up and oversee multiple strategic projects for complex topics - ranging from medical technology to metrology -, act as a reliable partner for the ZEISS business units- Support ZEISS to develop seamless end-to-end user journeys for diverse stakeholders, from explorative Design Thinking phases to agile implementation, quickly moving from customer needs, hypotheses and findings to prototypes, MVPs and implementation of roadmaps- Work with interdisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholders, from designers to business or tech experts- Ensure highest quality regarding project outcomes, stakeholder management and collaboration- Being responsible for develop and deliver on meaningful project challenges - shaping the future of ZEISS and our customers, together with ZEISS business units- Challenge and further develop our methodologies and help to scale Design Thinking and agile ways of working at ZEISS- Help to build and manage partnerships, support recruiting, and grow our network

Your Profile- A Master's degree in User Research related studies (e.g.

sociology, human-computer interaction, psychology, anthropology, design) - or an equivalent work experience- At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in a leading research & innovation agency (or in-house)- Outstanding experience and deep know how in Design Thinking and agile ways of working- A convincing track record that shows your ability to move from customer insights to MVP- An extensive skillset to reliably cover the full range of research methods - like qualitative interviews, quantitative surveys, field studies and co-creation workshops leveraging latest tools (e.g.

condens, miro, userzoom, mobile video journals, maze)- Strong scoping, project planning and smart staffing skills- Ideally experience as a team or community of practice lead- A natural passion and curiosity for technology and enthusiasm for innovation- Experience with working in interdisciplinary teams and with diverse roles / backgrounds- Entrepreneurial thinking, experience in a start-up environment would be an advantage- Very strong verbal, written and visual communication & presentation skills in English (must have) and ideally also German- The ability to communicate the value of customer centricity within a design and business context
