At the core of our mission to simplify hotel search and booking lies an experienced engineering team that drives innovation to take our metasearch engine to the next level.

Join us in making a difference:

We are looking for a motivated student to join our Quality Assurance team to help ensure that the frontend of our core product, the trivago hotel search website, is continuously evolving while high quality standards are maintained.

You will be working alongside other passionate QA Engineers, Software Engineers and Product Managers, developing and releasing new features for the website and maintaining its tech stack and functionality, to ensure that our users can easily find their ideal hotel for the best price.

How you'll make an impact:

Work with our agile teams on new website features, bug fixes and quality maintenance.
Identify defects that harm the website's functionality or user flow.
Get a chance to learn and support the design, development and maintenance of test automation scenarios.
Pitch ideas to improve user experience and design of our core product.

What you'll need to thrive:

Be a current student pursuing a degree in computer science or comparable qualifications.
Passion to learn software testing processes and methodologies. Previous experience is not a must but good to have.
Excellent communication and organizational skills allowing you to prioritize effectively in accordance with internal and external stakeholders.
Openness to change and relishing new challenges in a highlyagile environment.
Curiosity to explore the different areas of our product and work across various teams.
Fluency in English (verbally and written).

Stand out with:

Basic understanding of modern web technologies and software development process.
Willingness to learn and develop further skills as required, e.g. in terms of test automation or data analysis.
