We are looking for an Initiative Owner NatCat and Accumulation Management (M/F/d), based in Munich.

The Impact You Will Have

Reporting to the Transformation Engagement Manager you will be owning the overall delivery and daily management of the initiative by identifying the initiative work breakdown structure, deliverables, and activities, establishing a roadmap, and delivering in accordance with it as well as document the initiative progress and quality in an appropriate way.

The Initiative Owner will take total accountability for planning, structuring, leading, and executing global initiative of high risk and complexity.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include

Communicating the roadmap and progress to stakeholders, incl. top management, Business Owners and involved functions and ensure the delivery of initiatives to the appropriate levels of quality, on time and within budget.
Work in collaboration with all the relevant functions to secure effective engagement in taking forward the agenda and agreed benefits.
Monitoring and report initiative progress and taking corrective actions with the involved parties if needed
Managing scope and proposing scope adjustments, based on the progress and feedback from the UW as well as utilizing resources within and across initiatives, company functions and IT products
Managing risks and issues, taking mitigating and corrective actions and escalating where appropriate
Identifying, managing and communicating to stakeholders, esp. between UW and further functions incl. IT
Decision preparation and decision making for initiative related topics
Build, manage and guide the team

What You'll Bring to the Role

Strong experience in the insurance industry, preferably large corporate insurance, NatCat modelling, and portfolio management
Relevant experience in managing IT Solution Delivery initiatives
Experience of working in a highly complex organizational environment with peertopeer management
Highly result and solution oriented working style
Strong communication skills on operational and senior management level
Excellent analytical capacity
Proven ability to manage on peertopeer level and strong organizational skills
Fluent English skills, any other languages advantageous
