The Group Business Operations Specialist serves as a leader in the organization, ensuring that day to day operations are executed effectively and long term strategy is achieved.

As a pro-athlete generalist, this person will tackle anything and everything, consistently anticipating challenges and problem solving to create and implement scalable solutions.


What you'll be doing:


  • Own day to day operational processes and drive execution of strategic and operational plans throughout Staffbase, including identifying and implementing system and process improvements within the business
  • Drive OKR methodology, creating alignment and ensuring good reporting on, and execution of, priorities
  • Be a strategic partner to the Revenue Operations, Strategic Planning & Finance, & Data teams to ensure data driven decisions and constant knowledge of company progress
  • Lead or support various strategic planning exercises, closely coordinating across all departments
  • Play a key role in representing Group Business Operations as a leader in Europe, maintaining a strong connection with global functions and NA leadership
  • Work collaboratively, leading through ownership and influence to create an environment that strives to always increase productivity, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and execution
  • Lead the business operations stream in special projects, such as business continuity, or Exit Readiness activities, delivering efficient and effective endtoend planning and execution
  • Construct business cases for and against certain courses of action, such as business expansion, and ensure follow through with project plans that may involve leading crossfunctional groups
  • Diagnose operational problems, propose and implement solutions on a small and large scale, and deliver rootcause analysis to ensure challenges are not repetitive
  • Embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion through prioritization of supporting initiatives and imbedding awareness as part of team culture

What you need to be successful:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • High tolerance for role ambiguity, with strong tendencies toward innovation and problem solving
  • Fluent English required, German language skills are a bonus
  • Ability to facilitate and participate in crossfunctional teams and maintain productive working relationships
  • Ability to quickly change context and focus for a wide range of topics, determine priorities, and set deadlines independently
  • Analytical and detail oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Thrive in a fast paced environment, while maintaining a high level of support and dependability
  • Excellent collaboration, presentation, and communication skills
