This challenge awaits you:

  • The transition to electromobility is in full swing and we are helping to shape it Would you like to help us solve the exciting challenges that this change entails and turn innovative ideas into reality?

The literal engine of electromobility is the electric machine, which must be controlled and regulated precisely, efficiently and robustly in order to move a vehicle safely and in an energy-saving manner.

To this end, we develop software functions, such as control and regulation algorithms, which go beyond the state of the art.

As part of an internship with us, you will have the opportunity to support us in exactly this and thus contribute to the mobility of tomorrow.

Your Tasks:

  • Controller design and implementation for electric drives with higher control engineering approaches
  • System identification of controller and track
  • Robust control of electric drives
  • Sensorless control of electric drives
  • Design and implementation of observer structures in the control of electric drives
  • Integration of machine learning algorithms in the control of electric drives
  • Depending on your interests and previous experience, we can choose a suitable task for you from these key areas

Necessary Skills:

  • University degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field of study, ideally with a focus on electrical drives and/or control engineering
  • Knowledge of modeling with Matlab/Simulink or a comparable tool
  • High motivation to get involved and shape the future field of emobility
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Diversity and equal opportunity are important to us. What matters to us is the individual, with his or her character and strengths.
