Responsibilities:

The job is split up into two roles in Purchasing and Customer Care Management.

In the Role as Operative Purchaser you ensure material availability for direct and indirect material based on conditions negotiated by Strategic Purchasing.

Additionally you manage the operational relationship towards customers, e.g. orders from the time of placement until orders are delivered.

The Customer Manager is manages the interface between customers and the OSTE organization by providing a consistently transparent and timely communication for specific requirements and issues.


Your daily work consists of following activities:

  • Maintening Purchase orders
- issue, approval, distribution, confirmation, expediting, control order fulfilment, forecast support

  • Processing of order requisitions based on defined procedures
  • Supporting supplier evaluation for SCM part
  • Reporting for Operational Purchasing
  • Supporting forecasting processes
  • Managing customer orders in daytoday business
  • Managing customer requirements
  • Operational management of external service provider for warehousing & transportation
  • Communication with other internal and external stakeholders.
Your qualification

  • You have successfully completed your studies in Business/ Economics/ Supply Chain or a similar field
  • You have at least 1 year of job experience within SCM or a similar field
  • You can rely on your skills in SAP (PP and MM) and MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • You have very good communication skills and command of English & German both written and spoken
  • Your strengths include analytical skills and a strong hands on mindset
  • You enjoy working independently, are reliable and have a strong sense of responsibility and customer orientation
