POSITION OVERVIEW:


The Area Sales Director is a critical role that will interact and assist a very small number of EMEA based key strategic clients across the e2open customer portfolio.

This role endorses the overall success of our Enterprise client's accounts by managing and responding to client inquiries, qualifying and closing sales opportunities, understanding the client's business, and cross-selling additional e2open products to existing customers and services.


RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Take responsibility for a small number of strategically important accounts
  • Create relationships within prospects and installed accounts at every level
  • Understand the customer's current E2open products and identify opportunities to upsell and crosssell E2open's products within the assigned customer accounts
  • Identify customer needs and pain points and effectively prescribe solutions
  • Utilize a consultative approach, discuss business issues with customers, develop formal quotes, and present formal sales presentations to address the customer's business needs
  • Achieve, and or exceed assigned sales targets and/or quotas from assigned accounts, verticals or territories
  • Build strategic relationships at all levels including C-Level to maximize the benefit derived from e2open's installed & established solutions.
  • Be responsible for understanding the business needs and in doing so build a strategic plan
  • Build pipeline and understand totality of sales process and sales velocity in order to hit sales goals
  • Own the customer relationship by setting the strategic and tactical plans for assigned customers and become the trusted advisor to the customer for better business outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across the business but particularly within the sales leadership team, Pre-Sales/Solutions Consulting, Professional Services, legal and partnership to identify key trends and opportunities
  • Identify and implement winning value propositions and sales strategies for clients
  • Research and map assigned accounts to build knowledge of the customer's supply chain
  • Build strategic account plans for your accounts with understanding of the customer's organizational structure, key players, and current product utilization
  • Build pipeline and understand totality of sales process and sales velocity in order to hit sales goals

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Proven track record in Strategic Account Management, Sales consulting background, SaaS, Supply Chain and Operations experience preferred.
  • Demonstrable successful experience of building relationships with strategic clients within a SaaS solution environment
  • Proficient in solutions selling
  • Ability to communicate effectively at an Executive level and build relationships throughout an organization
  • Proven history of success maintaining and exceeding sales targets
  • Ability to travel ((mainland Europe) up to 40% of the time
  • Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrates the e2open Operating Principles and Values
  • E2open participates in the Everify program in certain locations, as required by law._
