Senior Group Accountant (a) for their office in Hamburg.

In this position, you will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting area of Skytanking Group.

Your key responsibilities include coordinating monthly closing activities, ensuring the quality and plausibility of reporting data and support the further development of group accounting globally.

What You Will Be Doing

Coordinating monthly closing activities according to HGB and IFRS
Quality assurance and plausibility check of reporting data from the individual financial statements of the Group companies
You are the technical contact person and advisor for all local finance managers in foreign companies of the Skytanking Group
Guidance and management of the accounting service provider, in particular ensuring the correct and complete booking of facts in holding companies as well as of group allocations, accruals, deferrals etc.
Supporting the analysis of intercompany issues and carrying out intercompany reconciliations
Support in the monthly consolidation of the Skytanking Group as well as the preparation of the consolidated financial statements (M/Q/J) according to IFRS and US-GAAP
Support in the preparation of individual annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
Support in crossdivisional communication and cooperation with auditors
Support in the further development of group accounting, e.g. integration of new companies as well as conceptualising and optimising groupwide accounting guidelines and processes and the internal control system
Independent monitoring of legal changes in IFRS and US-GAAP accounting and their assessment as well as the introduction of new IFRS and US-GAAP standards, if necessary
Close cooperation with the controlling department (Financial Planning & Analysis)
Product responsibility as well as technical further development of the invoice receipt SoCware
