In order to support our Procurement sector, Airbus Commercial is looking for a


Quality Conformance Management für Planung und Projektmanagement (M/F/d)
We are an international team consisting of 12 people, mainly based in Hamburg, Toulouse and the USA.

We are primarily responsible for the First Article Inspection checks and Source Inspections for all cabin and cargo components for all aircraft programs and suppliers worldwide Our main tasks consist of inspecting and testing the supplier production quality and the components themselves, as well as planning and coordinating these inspections.

In addition, we deal in depth with digitization projects and with the optimization of existing processes and projects, especially with focus on product conformity and quality as well as with people initiatives for our Procurement department.


Your location
The largest production site for civil aircraft can be found in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe means that you will travel to work by ship. The vibrant port of Hamburg is a green and cosmopolitan city brimming with culture

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for our finance back office
  • Creating Annual Operative Planning for the team and securing budget from the Program
  • Creating and Managing purchase orders and maintaining a finance database and periodically provide overview for internal stakeholders
  • Monitor the performed workload and budget consumption of our subcontractor on a regular basis
  • Tracking performance KPIs on a monthly basis and conducting good receipts of deliveries on a monthly basis
  • Updating and monitoring our core documents with the latest data
  • Daily booked communication slots with the subcontractor and provide any kind of support the subcontractor requires to perform their tasks on quality and on time
  • You will back up your Manager in all relevant meetings and workshops and take on action items that need immediate attention and resolution in his/her absence
  • You will be the point of contact for your team members if they were to require any kind of support to perform their tasks or to escalate blocking issue
  • You are the main focal point & interface for First Article Inspection Coordination for all aircraft programmes for cabin equipment
  • You will plan and coordinate FAI check missions justintime and exchange and discuss the products and missions with internal and external stakeholders as well as with suppliers

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Master degree in Engineering or Business school
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership behavior
  • Team player with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Good IT and digitization knowledge
  • Negotiation level of English, German and French are a plus
