Senior Architect Connectivity (M/F/d):

We Elevate

Your Responsibilities:

Designing IoT class global robust and scalable communication solutions from edge up to digital clouds and Backend/Datacenter systems
Governance: lead global connectivity architecture principles and assure not to deviate from agreed, defined basic concepts and architecture
Use of existing secure authentication systems (PKI) for large scale environment with different legal requirements, such as eg: EU/NA, PRC (CN) and others
Support relevant security reviews for existing and new products and major product releases (KA) to assure sufficient security and quality compliance
Change Support
Support in evaluation of new technologies
3rd level support of connectivity/cloud issues to support all relevant teams, internal and external customers (larger customer projects)

Your Best Self:

Education:

Bachelor in IT/CS, Cisco CCIE level, Linux certified (LPIC or RHCE)

Knowledge and experience:

Operating system knowledge (Linux, Operating system knowledge MS-Win)
Deep knowledge/experience in datacomminunications in terms IPv4 and IPv6 implementation in large scale environment (Cisco CCIE level) and Internet routing (BGP)
Cloud knowhow (Azure essential, AWS, OTC/HUW highly appreciated)
Datacommunication/Security setup in Linux systems
Datacomm.

Protocol standard know-how IPv4 and 6, TCP/UDP, NTP, DNSsec, encryption standards (AES, RSA, etc.)

VPN technologies, Softwaredefined networks
Cellular/mobile (Experience in function and operation of mobile networks in M2M environments)
Project leadership skill
Understanding messaging systems such as publishsubscriber/requestresponse protocols based on MQTT/AMQP

Language skills:

Solid command of written and verbal English
Additional languages a plus, German preferred
