Are you ready to contribute towards shaping a fossil-free future? Then join us as an Offshore Warehouse Coordinator within O&M Supply Chain department for our Business Area Wind.

As an Offshore Warehouse Coordinator you are part of the Supply Chain department in Integrated Operations.

Together with the rest of the Supply Chain department (Warehouse Coordinator teams across the globe where Vattenfall maintains warehouse service, Supply Chain Coordinators and Customs Experts), you work with key stakeholders to ensure availability of parts that are in scope of Supply Chain.


The Offshore Warehouse Coordinator works as part of Warehouse management team under Supply Chain and will be located in different rotations on board of the offshore platform.

Your position


The warehouse coordinator is responsible for warehouse and stock management on the Offshore sites which includes handling, storing and handover of service kits, spare parts, consumables and tools.

You will be responsible for maintaining contact with the onshore warehouse and back office to coordinate the receiving and sending of goods, as well as addressing any other related issues.

Additionally, you will work closely with planners, technicians, and platform managers on board to ensure smooth operations and a quick response to unforeseen circumstances.

As Offshore Warehouse Coordinator in Supply Chain you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control warehouse inventory by overseeing, directing, and coordinating the movement of goods into and out of the warehouse
  • Monitor stock of consumables and reorder materials
  • Operate and maintain the warehouse on offshore incl. administration in SAP
  • Providing service and tool kits for technicians
  • Point of contact offshore for supply run coordination including cargo documentation
  • Interface communication to ensure efficient processes between onshore warehouse and key Stakeholders
As Offshore Warehouse Coordinator in Supply Chain you will have the following key deliverables/activities:
Day-to-day warehouse and stock management

  • Coordinate warehouse activities on daily basis incl. administration in SAP
  • Handling of service kits for the planned Turbine Service and Maintenance incl. picking, labelling, handover of prepared service and tool kits to technician
  • Refill of service kits if required and/or packing of additional kits
  • Handover and tracking of tools
  • Handling of returned kits from technician
  • Regular check of all nonstock items and reordering if necessary
  • Report additional requirements and/or problems to back office immediately
  • Handling inbound and outbound Cargo incl. unpacking, storing, receiving of new materials on board as well as preparation of backload containers and documentation
  • Monitor waste segregation, arrange backload for full waste skips and order empty skips from onshore warehouse
  • General housekeeping to keep warehouse area clean and tidy

You are also comfortable working in a wide variety of environments and can quickly learn, with the ability to adapt to new skills and processes.

On top of this, you hold the following qualifications:


  • Experience with warehouse management preferably on Offshore sites
  • Experience with spare parts and tools for turbine service, planned HV maintenance and planned inspections
  • Understand safety, quality and operational processes
  • Proficient SAP Material Management Module and an understanding of SAP Planned Maintenance Module.
  • The ability to work in offshore rotations and if required in day/nightshift on board.
  • Experience with storage and transport of dangerous goods
  • In possession of valid GWO offshore certificates
  • In possession of a valid OPITO HUET Certificate
  • In possession of a valid medical certificate for offshore working
  • Command of English is strong, both verbally and written
