Our collaborations with essential service providers guarantee the successful execution of initiatives, ranging from refurbishing community football pitches to conducting impact assessments.

_________________________- HEAD OF PROGRAMS - ADIDAS FOUNDATION (M/F/D)- The Head of Programs plays a pivotal role to the success of the adidas Foundation, overseeing the effective delivery of our mission by setting a strategic and impact driven approach to program development and implementation.

This leadership position involves identifying new partners, projects, and strategic initiatives to enhance our impact and reach. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality delivery of programs, adhering to high standards and best practices.

Additionally, the Head of Programs will play a crucial role in programmatic budget allocation, ensuring best practice grantmaking and optimizing resources to maximize the positive outcomes of our charitable endeavors.

- Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own the program strategy, ensuring alignment with the adidas Foundation's bylaws and standards. Continuously enhance the adidas Foundation's impact by regularly evaluating the program strategy and implementing necessary strategy amendments to adapt to changing needs
  • Oversee endtoend program execution by ensuring the implementation of all programs aligns with the established strategy, monitor program quality and compliance and identify and mitigate risks associated with poor program quality or any potential breaches of compliance
  • Build, lead and manage the programs team, making everyday decisions related to team leadership, talent retention, and ensuring highquality, impactful program work
  • Identify, scope & develop new program opportunities and innovative initiatives in alignment with the established strategy and community engagement insights, ensuring that partners and programs adhere to set scoping criteria and guidelines, contributing to the strategic growth and impact of the adidas Foundation's initiatives
  • Set clear quality standards for programs and partners within each program pillar, ensuring alignment with the adidas Foundation's MEAL framework, and take prompt remedial actions if standards are not met to safeguard against impact loss and funding challenges
  • Identify and leverage opportunities to create greater systemic change and collective impact through holistic programming that expands beyond grantmaking alone, enhancing the overall impact of the adidas Foundation
  • Keep up to date with trends and advancements in the sportforgood and other pertinent sectors to identify trends and upandcoming areas for program collaboration and development and enhance the foundation's strategic positioning
