- Manage Desktop Devices (hardware, software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
- Document & track support activity. Communicate solutions in a userfriendly, professional manner.
- Support, Manage, Optimize and Maintain the configuration and installation of Christie employees' computer devices, including, but not limited to, patch updates, hardware replacements, and replacement parts provided by the vendor.
- Maintain inventory of all IT Hardware and Software in various EMEA sites.
- Will be called upon to assist with supporting Infrastructure services including VMWare, SAN, backup solutions, etc. Needs to support and/or help maintain all EMEA infrastructure. Work closely with the BTS Infrastructure team and help them where needed.
- Maintain regular communication and provide an update (critical and mundane) to BTS personnel on various ITrelated issues, upgrades, purchases, troubleshooting efforts, patching, etc.
- May be called upon to work on weekends or off hours.
- Track and document the movement of hardware and software as required and maintain inventory & stock levels as set by management.
- Relocate, assemble, disassemble, or mount equipment as required.
Requirements:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in enduser support.
- Ability to deal effectively with clients and provide customer support.
- Knowledge and experience with current Microsoft OS platforms.
- Strong analytical problemsolving skills.
- Ability to perform research as required for technical support.
- Should have good expertise with EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office and Outlook.
- Experience with a ticketing system.
- Preferable to have a good understanding of Office 365, VPN, and mobile device support.
- Microsoft/A+/Network+ certification would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge in AD, a basic understanding of network support, and/or a basic understanding of VMware would be considered good to have.
