We seek:


  • In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, department Physics, Solid State Physics, we are looking for a researcher as of the at the following conditions:
  • 50% = 19,92 hours
  • Pay grade 13 TV-L
- limited until


Your tasks:


  • Preparation and characterization of 2Dmaterials using surface science methods, especially scanning tunneling microscopy (STM)
  • Support in research and teaching, supervision and examination of students as well as assistance in administrational tasks
  • Participation in the education of students in our Bachelor and Master programme
  • Teaching commitment: 4 semester hours

Your profile:


  • Master's or equivalent degree in physics or closely related field
  • Proficiency in Solid State Physics
  • We desire:
  • Experience using scanning probe methods (especially STM)
  • Experience in MBE, CVD and PVD
  • Experience in the operation of UHVsystems
  • Knowledge in the field of 2Dmaterials
