We seek:

In the Faculty IV: School of Science and Technology, department Physics, Solid State Physics, we are looking for a researcher as of the at the following conditions:
50% = 19,92 hours
Pay grade 13 TV-L

Your tasks:

Preparation and characterization of 2Dmaterials using surface science methods, especially scanning tunneling microscopy (STM)
Support in research and teaching, supervision and examination of students as well as assistance in administrational tasks
Participation in the education of students in our Bachelor and Master programme
Teaching commitment: 4 semester hours

Your profile:

Master's or equivalent degree in physics or closely related field
Proficiency in Solid State Physics
We desire:
Experience using scanning probe methods (especially STM)
Experience in MBE, CVD and PVD
Experience in the operation of UHVsystems
Knowledge in the field of 2Dmaterials
