RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and drive recurring compensation processes in the region - using and enhancing Workday, in coordination with regional HR functions- Run market data surveys for specific sites/countries, compare actual compensation and benefits to market level, propose measures to be taken by Evonik and support the sites in implementation- Support job-grading activities through preparation of grading committee meetings, organization and steering of grading of complete sites, counselling of business
- and service-units, ensure quality and completeness of required documents
  • Being the global expert for selected compensation topics like market survey data quality, compensation training, knowledge management on compensation and benefits or similar, initiate and contribute to harmonization projects in compensation
  • Advise and support businessunits at compensation projects and implementation of new compensation system/structures
  • Participate in M&A projects including due dilligence, post merger integration and carve outs
  • Promote use of Workday as leading HR System and promote data quality

REQUIREMENTS:


  • University degree in the fields of human resources, business administration, finance or similar with at least 5 years of professional experience in an international environment
  • Sound experience in the field of compensation and benefits, HR experience as HR Partner or similar role is of advantage
  • Preferably experience in Grading topics
  • Broad knowledge of EMEA countries and compensation topics preferred
  • Fluent in English language (written and spoken), further language skills are advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills as well as good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Structured, selfresponsible and solutionoriented working attitude
  • Ability to collaborate with different cultures
