2023 sees The Hoxton take on Europe We're popping up in some of our favourite cities and we'll be opening our first hotel in Germany in the city of culture and creativity, Berlin. We are now looking for an experienced

Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and play a crucial part in successfully bringing our brand to a new market.

Our first Hoxton in Germany will be home to 234 bedrooms of varying sizes, a ground floor restaurant, coffee bar and streetside terrace and The Apartment - our unique meetings and events concept.

Reporting to the

Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Maintenance team; overseeing the maintenance of the hotel facilities and equipment, budgets, regulatory compliances, and everything in between.

What you'll do
:

Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
Prepare weekly maintenance schedules & tests and allocate work as per forecasted workloads.
Supervise and train workers.
Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance activities.
Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time.
Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage.
Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site.
Conduct preventative maintenance work.
Conduct followups on all maintenance and repair work.
Conduct safety inspections as scheduled.
Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time
Fault repair, maintenance of equipment, plumbing, furniture and lighting.
Perform general tasks such as connecting equipment, lighting, installing locks and hinges etc.
Accurate control of the work and your own workspace and equipment.
Prepare order and stock takes.
Cover Maintenance Technicians shifts as required.
