Job Purpose


Colgate-Palmolive is engaged in a profound digital transformation from a strategic, organizational, knowledge/ experimentation and investment aspect, which impacts all our current and future marketing and business activities.

To help fuel this transformation, we are looking for a Digital Transformation Lead to join our Central Europe West Hub (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).


The CEW Digital Transformation Lead spearheads a team of 8-10 seasoned media & digital experts and collaborates with different key stakeholders from Brand-, Shopper and Professional Marketing, Customer Development, Divisional Integrated Marketing Communications and the OAC digital team to enable impactful omni channel communication, strengthen our brands, help accelerate eCommerce growth and create impactful online & offline brand experiences for our consumers to enable innovative business growth.

The Digital Transformation influences and educates the organization at all levels, creates alignment and mobilizes the broader team to build a digital-first mindset and culture within the CEW Hub.


Responsibilities:


  • Drive the digital & media transformation across Germany, Austria & Switzerland setting an ambitious omni channel marketing & communication strategy to deliver against clear communication & business objectives.
  • Define a clear strategy to accelerate our data maturity, fully enable impactful content and leverage our innovative ad tech & personalisation at scale to reach the right consumer with the right message at the right time.
  • Derive seamless fullfunnel tactics & activations connecting all relevant Marketing Communications & POS touchpoints to maximize the impact on our brands & business.
  • Utilize and further enhance our automated real time performance measurement & optimization infrastructure to quantify and accelerate business impact.
  • Lead, coach & continuously develop a team of experts that is responsible to oversee, transform, and further accelerate
  • Omni channel planning, buying & optimization of paid, owned and earned online/ offline media (including social & retail media, holistic paid & organic search) in close partnership with our agency partners localizing & deploying central communication strategies.
  • Data Driven Marketing including the implementation, activation & continuous evolution of our data strategy.
  • The impactful engagement with consumers across all relevant, innovative digital touch points.
  • The omni channel content strategy identifying & accelerating impactful content across all relevant touch points of the consumer journey.
  • The real time endtoend measurement and optimization of our omni channel marketing activations based on a clear KPIs framework that is tying back to business impact.
  • Build and cultivate partnerships with relevant agency/ partners/ vendors to accelerate our media & digital transformation.
  • Constantly seek out innovation in the digital space and identify new opportunities for the business to drive growth and meet objectives.
  • Lead the digital upskilling of the organization in order to raise the digital capabilities and skills of everyone and create a digitalfirst mindset within the organization.

Qualifications
Background

  • University degree in marketing, media & communication.
  • 10+ years' work experience in media & communications experience on media agency side is highly appreciated.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and German.
  • Ideally familiar with Google Suite.
