Airbus Operations is looking for an

Internship - Environmental impact on Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (d/f/m):

Hamburg

Start:
, as soon as possible

Duration: 3-6 months

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

Structure Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Analysis Engineering.
Analyze and Validate composite & hybrid structures for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance according to validated methods.
Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
Define, interpret and validate tests.
Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support) as needed.
Provide stress analysis for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures.
Perform monitoring/guidance/support of Subcontracting firms providing structure analysis work.

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled fulltime student in the area of Structures, Aerospace, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance or an equivalent field of study.
Fluent in English, German is nice to have
