THE ROLE & THE TEAM:

Zalando fulfills more than a hundred million customer orders every year and volumes are increasing.

Fulfillment Core within Zalando builds and operates systems that are at the core of Zalando's platform strategy and ensure timely, efficient, and correct delivery of every one of our customers' 185+ million orders every year.

For our Product Analytics Team in Fulfillment Core we're looking for a motivated and skilled Team Lead (all genders) to provide both hands-on support to the team.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE INTERESTED

  • Act as a key intermediary between product analysts and their stakeholders, actively manage stakeholders, support your team in conveying ideas and results clearly and persuasively, address and resolve redundancies and prioritize projects
  • Mentor and coach your product analyst direct reports, helping them grow and flourish in their role at Zalando, as well as in their career
  • Help build a Product Analytics team that's driven by impact, define the team's mission and vision, derive the team's strategy, and help build the required infrastructure
  • Develop domain knowledge in fulfillment processes, both to guide your team more effectively and to be able to stay handson when needed, e.g. in A/B testing, deepdive analyses, metric definition, strategic recommendations for product development etc.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF

  • At least 1 year of people management experience
  • Clear and efficient communication, coupled with evident enthusiasm for lsupporting a team and helping people grow
  • Demonstration of advanced SQL and Python ability and Statistics; R knowledge, behavioral science, and causal inference is a plus
