Your responsibilities:


  • Driving sales and marketing activities
  • Grow and maintain a portfolio of customers and counterparts active on the Carbon Credit market, prioritize your leads and turn them into clients and transactions
  • Prepare carbon offsetting proposals for company and product carbon footprints
  • Review carbon offsetting projects for our portfolio according to our quality criteria
  • Conduct daytoday sales initiatives and provide clients with essential market intelligence analysis to support pricing, trading, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Represent thyssenkrupp Materials Trading and build our brand on the market through conferences and PR initiatives

Your profile:


  • University degree in Finance, Econometrics, Business, Sustainability, or strong commercial experience in sales, carbon market and origination roles
  • Good communicator with the ability to influence and build deep relationships with key stakeholders: customers, counterparties, exchanges, regulators and internal senior leaders at thyssenkrupp
  • Good quantitative skills, the ability to progress complex negotiations and to structure/monetize options
  • Knowledge about the voluntary Carbon Credit market and experience in trade execution as well as building and growing the trade book
  • Selfmotivated teamplayer with a handson attitude and interested in growing a developing business and a "Green" Mindset
  • English language skills are mandatory, other language skills are a plus
