We are looking for immediate support in our
Vaccine and Cellular Immunotherapy team, who works with

preclinical human and mouse tumor models to develop innovative cancer immunotherapies and to elucidate

their mechanism of action.

Our research interests range from antibody-based therapies to RNA-based vaccines and immunomodulators

for translational therapies. A multidisciplinary team within TRON and with external cooperation partners carries

out a variety of different projects. Methodologically, we focus primarily on tumour models, supplemented by

immunogenicity tests and extensive ex vivo analyses such as investigations of the tumour microenvironment,

ELISpot or cytotoxicity assays.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

Planning, coordinating of in vitro preclinical experiments including documentation according to official &
internal guidelines

Planning and conducting immunological in vitro assays based on multicolor flow cytometry and ELIspot

Implementating and establishment of new methods (e.g. Fluo-ELispot)

monoclonal antibodies, chemotherapeutic reagents, RNA based vaccines etc.)

Writing of standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Pro-active contribution to tasks of general laboratory organization


What you bring:

Master degree in life sciences and/or several years of experience as technical assistant in cell biology or

immunology laboratory

Practical experience in conducting in vitro experiments using cell culture and primary cells isolated from

organs

Experience in performing in vitro assays based on multicolor flow cytometry techniques, immunological

methods such as ELISA and ELIspot as well as immunological background are a plus

Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills in German are mandatory, while in English are a plus

Well-structured and organized working methods and an excellent time management

A high interest in coordinating and maintaining organized laboratory activities in an international

interdisciplinary research team complets your profile.
