Mission/Vision of the company:

This hotel is one of Germany's largest and offers a unique mix of distinctive accommodation and culinary variety as well as an excellent entertainment program to their guests.

Now it's your chance to contribute to the Sales Department of this popular hotel.

Internship:

An internship in the Sales Department of this hotel will give you the opportunity to be involved in the daily business activities of the Sales Team including customer care, acquisition and creative initiatives to open up new doors at an international level.

You will support the team with administrative tasks as well as conducting research in support of the above activities.

Moreover, there is room for you to show your own initiative in seeking out new business opportunities and promising business partners.

This internship will give you an excellent foundation in sales and pave the way for a successful sales career.

Profile Student:

You have finished or be pursuing studies focused on hospitality, tourism or event management. Practical experience in these areas is also advantageous.

Paramount is the motivation to learn new skills and a general enthusiasm about hospitality, tourism or event management, which in turn brings with it openness, friendliness and excellent communication skills.

In operating on an international level, a high level of proficiency in the English language is essential. Knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.

Daily tasks:

Supporting the Sales Team (particularly with administrative tasks)
Representing the hotel (mails, calls, direct contact with clients)
Database Maintenance
Researching new business opportunities

You are/have:

Motivated and committed to hotel, tourism or event management
Practical experience in the hospitality industry (evidence of former internships, apprenticeships etc. most welcome)
Excellent language proficiency in German & English (language certificates appreciated)
Customer friendly attitude and strong communication skills
Solid knowledge of MS Office
Prior knowledge of Opera, is an advantage but not mandatory

German (native or fluent level of proficiency)
English (native or fluent level of proficiency)
