FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

Responsibilities

Gather and monitor financial data (e. g. sales revenues and liabilities)
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements), HGB & US GAAP
Manage tax payments
Perform monthend and yearend close processes
Manage company cars
Responsible for internal and external audits of financial topics
Implement and continuously improve internal controls that insure accurate accounting
Provide accurate information to local Controller
Provide tax reports incl VAT
Responsible for daily reporting
Responsible for supporting sales org with financial reports
Responsibility of reconciling specific balance sheet accounts
Initiate and generate any report needed for operational or legal purposes
Generate supplier payments
Backup Controller

reports into VP Finance

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor of economics
5 years' relevant working experience in financial accounting
Knowledge of accounting principles (HGB and US Gaap knowledge)
Knowledge of financial system (Oracle, HFM preferred)
Excel
Very good written and verbal communication skills
Strong English language skills
