A vacancy for a Development Engineer (d/f/m) - RF Communications has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Friedrichshafen.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Responsibility for the work package "RF Communications" and deliveries of the related items (hardware, models, documentation) in space programs Phases A/B/C/D/E

Contribute to the analysis of the customers/ mission requirements and breakdown to the functional chains requirements
Contribute to the definition of functional and electrical RF PL architectures
Analysis of RF performance and coordination of supporting work packages
Test definition and execution
Definition of system components such as:
TTC transponders,
Modulators,
RF amplifiers,
RF harness
RF waveguide assemblies,
RF filters
Antennas.
Coengineering with suppliers
Coordination of relevant design and MAIT activities at supplier level
Support of project team members and other disciplines for RF matters
Support of relevant operations and AIT activities at system level
Contribution to related internal/external R&D and improvements/standardisation initiatives

Desired skills and qualifications:

Master degree in Electrical Engineering
RF hardware design background
Space Engineering background is an asset
English and German language skills on negotiation level
