The Syneos Health Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will have primary responsibility for interacting with key stakeholders and healthcare providers.

The MSL will collaborate with Physicians and other medical experts to support trial management, develop partnership to improve patient management and ensure that healthcare professionals have the most up-to-date information about medical, safety and clinical benefits of our customer's products.

Responsibilities

Setting up strategies to target the most relevant HCPs for our customer's therapeutic efforts and position our customer as a credible partner and provider of effective treatments and medicines
Identifying, developing, and maintaining professional relationships with national/regional KOLs, establishing peertopeer collaborations with key medical experts in the therapeutic areas covered by our customer
Supporting clinical development initiatives including potential investigator site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and presentation of final approved data, involving experts to generate scientific data including investigatorinitiated trials
Collaborating with physicians on medical affairs initiatives including publication and communication plans, advisory boards, medical education opportunities, training, and speaker development

Essential Requirements

An advanced scientific degree (e.g. MSc, PhD, PharmD or MD)
Medically trained and/or clinical experience in neurology, pulmonology, internal medicine, psychiatry or related field
Prior MSL or Fieldbased medical experience
Fluency in spoken and written business English

Additional Requirements

Inclination to seek and analyse data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organisation's overall strategy
Knowledge of compliance requirements and adherence to all relevant standards
An entrepreneurial approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organisation and push the boundaries within the industry
