_ Commercial Launch Lead antibiotics (M/F/d) _


We are looking for an experienced launch lead with pharmaceutical know-how, ideally from the German market, who will be an essential part of our Munich-based team.

The commercial launch lead role will report into Business Unit Head/VP General Medicine.

We foresee that closer to launch this launch lead role would be having a brand manager and a sales team as direct reports.

The launch lead will also be responsible for the recruitment of those roles.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • _ development of the launch strategy, marketing strategy and derived tactical brand plan of an important new product/indication in a highly competitive market_
- _ preparation and development of marketing/commercial strategies for the market launch with a particular focus on bringing a new antibiotic to the market under special reimbursement conditions_
- _ leading a cross-functional team to a successful and competitive market launch in a co-creation context with global colleagues (global go-to-market strategy); starting with hand over from Market Access/early pipeline team to the core team consisting of Commercial launch lead and medical launch lead. Decisions on sales force deployment will be made in the launch preparation process_
- _ content design of German co-creation contributions (Germany and mainly USA are co-creation markets) _
- _development of strong agile/cross-functional working methods that meet the requirements of our customers/end users_
- _ creation and implementation of the Launch Plan/Business Plan and its presentation at national and international level_
- _ implementation or coordination of the implementation of the various measures from the Business Plan_
- _ implementation of the global product materials including local adaptation _
- _ensuring the successful implementation in sales as well as continuous monitoring of product performance _
- _results tracking through formulation and business management of key performance indicators and course-correction as needed_
- _ planning and implementation of national/regional events and congress activities _
- _planning and controlling of resources for the product (promotion budget, sales/sales planning)_
- _ planning, development, and evaluation of market analyses_

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • successful completion of university studies, ideally in the field of economics or natural sciences
- sound professional experience in pharma marketing
- at least one further function in the pharmaceutical environment, i.e., sales or market access
- proven leadership and coaching experience with integrity and conflict resolution skills
- good basic understanding of general business administration
- high customer orientation to both internal and internal/external clients
- in-depth experience in working with international functions as well as within matrix structures
- will to succeed as well as entrepreneurial and strategic thinking (thinking in cross-functional, networked contexts)
- fast learner with the ability to change perspectives in cross -functional cooperation
- communicative competence and argumentation skills

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • international experience outside the German market in global roles
- experience with project management/agile working
- experience in market access and/or governmental affairs
