Your tasks

The position can be located in Babenhausen, Regensburg, Wetzlar, Timisoara, Iasi, Toulouse, Guadalajara or Singapore.

Your tasks will focus on the following activities:

  • Represent reusable hardware modules in acquisition/quote reviews and alignment meetings in order to ensure maximum generic re-use and proper support with design services
  • Coordinate quote support incl. effort estimations, technical alignment etc.
  • Alignment with corresponding disciplines, e.g. platform development teams, customer segment, EE/ME development, system engineering, business area interfaces, advanced purchasing, target costing, controlling, PM/TPL
  • Provide advanced overview and statistics of all EE/ME modules and generic components
  • Report potential EE/ME module improvements in regard to technical requirements to EE/ME module management
  • Create/evaluate measurement methods in order to visualize and check EE/ME module effectiveness
  • Report the quote status of projects on regular basis (risk, opportunities, corrective actions,)
  • Feedback potentials improvements to EE/ME module management, advanced purchasing and target costing
  • Support project reviews acc. process (PCIS, G20,...)
  • Share strategic information (new technologies, competitors, risks,) within community
  • Set up a standard communication interface between customer projects, BA interfaces and EE/ME module management
  • Support to improve EE/ME module development and quote process

Profile:


  • Academic degree in electronics or mechatronics
  • Several years of experience in automotive development in EE, ME, PM/TPL or AP area
  • Basic knowledge and skills in controlling and costing
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerBI
  • Fluent English in writing and conversation on business level
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Intercultural experience with worldwide teams
